The bird in the picture is named Tequila. It lived on the beach at Rosarito, Mexico. Loved to dive-bomb people. Mess with their hair.
This particular day it kept trying to land on my horn while I was playing. We had a lengthy conversation.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ultimate_spacer height=”20″][vc_column_text]Born in Oklahoma, educated in universities there, then off to military service, where he was arranger, lead trumpet player for the Navy Show Band. After 4 tours of South America for the State Department, he went back to Oklahoma, where he taught music in the schools for 2 years. Then, after a brief stint with the rock band, Changes, he became the musical director on the road for the Ice Capades.

When the ice melted, he moved to Las Vegas to pursue a writing and playing career, backing acts including Gladys Knight, Tom Jones, Eglebert Humperdink, Paul Williams, Aretha Franklin, and many more.

Then it was back to Los Angeles to do more writing for shows including Ice Capades (Hollywood), Caesars Palace Christmas on Ice (Las Vegas), American Superdream (Japan), Disney on Ice, and many cruise ship shows.

Returning to Las Vegas, he produced and played in three Production shows, Latin Fire (dance/singing), Grand Illusion (magic), and A Tribute To Grease, for casinos in Arizona. And still had time to write and record some CARTOON MUSIC.

Then 5 years as music director on board cruise lines including Princess, Norwegian, Azamara, and Celebrity.

He has two albums released.
1)Fragile-smooth jazz, melody-with-groove music and
